The ultimate in hose management, the Auto Reel is a wall mounted reel combined with a self-layering mechanisms with automatic hose rewind. An integral spring system does the work, allowing the user to walk the hose effortlessly back to the reel, while the self-layering mechanism feeds it neatly back onto the drum. A simple ratchet mechanism ensures that the hose only rewinds when you want it to. The wall bracket and pivot tube allow the reel to swivel through 180 degrees, to supply the hose at any angle from the wall. The reel comes fully assembled with 10m top quality hose inside, and all connectors and fittings.

Locking mechanism has not been designed well, hose often retracts suddenly. You'll spend half your time straining to keep the hose pulled out while you water and the rest watering in fear of the hose being whipped out of your fingers at any moment.

Great product which certainly makes watering the garden so much easier than using the old 'wind on reel' system that always seemed to have a mind of it's own. The 180 swivel is a real boon. The length is adequate for my small garden.It is so easy to use that we have now purchased one for my elderly relative to use. The only slight problem is that the locking sytem sometimes doesn't work first time but if that happens, it always clicks in after a few tugs on the hose. Would highly recommend this hose for all ages to use.

Not so Autohose,

I bought this produce from Amazon. It has been used 3 times and on the 4th attempt to use it, the autolock would not lock. Consequently, each time the water was turned on, the hose retracted back into the casing. Surprise, surprise, when I contacted Amazon, they did not want to know, as it was over their 30 day return policy. I was told by the member of staff at Amazon that it was probably user error. I would therefore avoid this product like the plague.
