This is basically a hose reel enclosed in a plastic case with wheels on the base. For the first couple of months of use it seemed to work efficiently and made watering the garden reasonably effortless however, the problems then started to arise.
The hose is withdrawn from the base of the cart and a handle on the side is designed to reel the hose back in. This is the first area where the cart does not really work very well after it has been in use for a while. It is difficult to pull the hose out unless you have someone else holding the cart stationary - without something to hold the cart in place, it has a tendency to move towards you rather than allow the hose to be unwound. Should you manage to get the hose to come out, the unit frequently makes a very loud grinding sound, particularly if it is placed on uneven ground. Rewinding the hose is problematic as well; along with the very loud grinding noise, you do have to unkink the hose before it enters the unit and I have also needed to fully unwind and then rewind on occasion as the hose is as prone to winding in a lopsided fashion as any other hose reel - to the extent that it jams up.
The cart has two wheels but I do not find these allow the cart to be moved around easily. I have a relatively flat lawn but it has a couple of (very minor) lumps in it, the size of small stones. If you happen to wheel the hose over one of those lumps, the whole thing either wobbles manically or falls over, so it is not particularly stable. You also need to reel the hose back in if you want to move the cart around, which is not as easy as it sounds with this unit.
This sounds like a great idea but the reality is somewhat different.
