This Hozelock fully enclosed wall-mounted Fast Reel is perfect for medium to large gardens. The reel’s wall-mounting means you can fix it next to the water supply and only unravel the length of hose you need. Its fully enclosed design means it is not left out in the elements to suffer from direct exposure to frost, and protects the hose from wear and tear.
The reel is incredibly simple to use, and has a self-layering design that prevents the hose from kinking. The wall guide allows the hose to be pulled out and rewound from any direction.
This Fast Reel is supplied with an ample 40 metres of 12.5mm high-quality hose, so reaching the far corners of your garden needn’t be a stretch. It comes fully assembled, so fixing it to the wall is your one and only task before it is ready to use. All necessary fittings are included with this product, such as a bracket and fixings, as well as accessories like a waterstop connector, threaded tap connector and hose nozzle.

Hozelock 40m Wall Mounted Fastreel
This hozelock product is ideal for larger gardens (or where your car is a long way from the tap) The manual unwind is acieved by simly pulling the hose and the rewind is by crank handle. Both work very well and avoid the usual snagging and twisting that comes with conventional reels, especially over long lengths. All fixings are provided, but you will probably need a longer than supplied piece of hose to connect from the reel mounting point to your outside tap.
Make sure you fix it properly to a wall because its quite heavy and always use the supplied multiway guide bracket to direct the hose as this ensures the auto reelspooling mechanism works. You can also buy an extra guide bracket to fix on a wall corner to stop chaffing if the hose has to be deployed around corners - what a good idea and well done Hozelock for thinking of this.
DIY tools are required to fix to wall, but otherwise the item is fully assembled straight from the box. The Reel can also be removed from its mounting bracket for winter storage if required. Only minor point is that the rewind from fully extended takes some effort but will keep you fit. Always unplug the quick fit connector from the tap before winding in or out as this makes winding easier.
A very good product, but make sure you have a good mounting site as it cannot be used free standing.

I am quite simply absolutely delighted with the Hazelock 40m wall mounted hosepipe.
Firstly, because I have found it practically impossible to find garden hosepipes more than 30m long. Secondly, because the Hazelock is an incredibly tidy and convenient way of storing hosepipe and in having it available for instant use. Thirdly, because, when I have finished using it I can rewind it in a matter of seconds. An added bonus is that it is very easy to mount and instal on a wall. I am a pensioner and not a very young one but I had no difficulty in mounting my Hazelock on a convenient wall next to the water supply. I have been searching for a wall mounted hose like this for a very long time and it was an enormous pleasure to find that Amzazon supply them at a very reasonable price and, what's more, deliver them within two or three days of receiving the order.

I don't normally write reviews, but this hosepipe is really very worthy of a good one ! This hose and reel is a fantastic piece of kit, works like a dream and as I am the woman of the house, of course I am the one watering the garden in the evening! (hope I don't offend any of you guys reading this!) this is super, very easy to use and reel in afterwards, you don't even have to unreel it all if you only need a short hose, it's fantastic. My husband gives it a first rating as he doesn't even have to help me now, as I can operate this one all on my own !!!!!

hozelock 40 reel
Replaces identical worn out reel. Easy to use and particularly to rewind, plenty of hose. Minimal maintenance - occasional squirt of WD40 - and good value, though not cheap.
