I just wanted a simple hosepipe on a reel to replace the infuriating spiral one, which did not "put itself away" and did often "kink", so was slightly nonplussed to find there was some DIY, aided by photos, to perform. It must have been easy, as I have used it several times already during this long dry spell. Care must be taken to unroll it from the front and not let it slide sideways off the reel, but even the odd "kink" is easy to untwist. I now appreciate the fact that, due to the DIY element, it can be used to the required length, and easily removed and refixed to the water tap. I am very pleased with it.
