I bought this for use with the Sigma 150-500mm telephoto lens in order to give it some protection both from UV and also in general. There is no doubt about it, Hoya are light years better than most lens manufacturers. A quality product which I have no hesitation in awarding 5 stars.
I bought this to fit my Sigma 150- 500mm lens and it fitted fine. It is a pity I cannot find lens filters that have a coating like spec tales have that prevent scratches from happening easily. The filter works fine and protects the glass of the lens.
