4.0 out of 5 stars Is it me, or are things more cynical today? 30 Dec 2011
By AquaViola TOP 1000 REVIEWER
Format:Paperback
This is the 37th Dilbert cartoon book, which has full-colour cartoons between 3 May 2010 and 12 February 2011. The first of the book shows Scott Adams at his most cynical; imagine all the previous Dilbert cartoons at the next level of selfishness. Whilst very funny, these cartoons go very close to the line, and in one case oversteps it. When it gets closer to around Christmas, the overall mood relaxes, and it returns to the usual cynical level.

Overall, due to its unremitting intensity, this should be brought only by Dilbert veterans, and should not be the first Dilbert book you should buy. If you're looking for a good first choice, I can recommend Dilbert 2.0: 20 Years of Dilbert, as it contains on DVD-ROM around 20 years worth of Dilbert.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very funny! 4 Dec 2012

I love Dilbert. He unpicks the nonsense of organisations.

I hope he'll start writing cartoons about the tax avoidance crimes of large corporations like Amazon.

if you are a long term Dman addict, this will suffice, but it won't rock the casbah. Scott hasn't really kept up with the times and sadly , there isn't miuch more D can actually do!

5.0 out of 5 stars Continues a great tradition 16 Jan 2013

Anything dilbert observes applies not only to industry, but to other places of work as well. Good to see he has kept up with the moving times of the work place.

Another brilliant and funny set of seemingly nonsensical management decisions and employee interactions brought to life by Scott Adams. Dilbert and colleagues are superb!
