Synopsis

All thirteen episodes from the third series of the drama set amongst the wealthy sailing community of Tarrant. Howards' Way was the BBC's answer to the wave of glamorous dramas coming out of the States in the Eighties like Dallas and Dynasty. With a backdrop of a booming boatyard, and characters drawn from the business and yachting set of the fictional south-coast town of Tarrant, this is Thatcher-era TV at its finest: aspirational, entrepeneurial and full of conspicuous consumption.

Howards Way 3 Review 20 Sep 2009

Series 3 of this classic cult British drama, the thrills and spills of sailing life on the South Coast during Thatcher's 80's. Greed, envy, marital affairs all take their toll on the Howard, Urquhart, Rolfe and Frere families. Great series, watch it for the costumes alone and the pretty scenery, I've no doubt there's coach tours still doing the "Howards Way" tour even now.
