More About the Author

My name is Richard McMunn and I started the 'how2become' series of books back in 2005 when I was working as a Firefighter for Kent Fire & Rescue Service. I initially started selling the books through my website http://www.how2become.com but soon expanded the range on Amazon.

Before joining the Fire Service I spent 4 years in the Fleet Air Arm on-board HMS Invincible. During my career I was heavily involved in recruitment and regularly sat on interview panels in addition to creating recruitment tests and scoring application forms and CV's.

Many of my books not only include details of how to pass a selection process, but I also provide sample responses to the application form questions and also the interview questions. I have helped hundred's of people to secure a job and I believe I can help you to do the same.

My books are created from a desire to help people achieve their goals and I am sure you will find my books inspiring and motivational.

I hope you enjoy my books,

Richard McMunn

I have applied to become a paramedic with the London Ambulance Service and I have successfully passed the application shortlist and my written assessments!!!

I have no doubt that Richard and the team (how2become) have contributed to this.

I have the H2B DVD (how to become a paramedic), the online testing suite, attended the 1 day intensive course and also purchased the H2B a paramedic book.

If you are serious about passing, FIRST TIME, I highly recommend the How2Become range.

Richard McMunn is also very helpful and knowledgeable in all aspects of the selection process.

5.0 out of 5 stars how2become a paramedic 8 Dec 2010
By Jen
I bought this for a friend, along with another paramedic book for her birthday. As she is hoping to train as a paramedic and return to education, I thought that they would be of benefit to her. She LOVED them, and couldn't put them down. She even took them on a trip to London for her birthday to see a show. A great purchase if I say so myself.
