This is super helpful and a must for any young writer. See especially the advice by M.J Hyland. Very good stuff indeed.

As a writer of various types of text, I found this book to be delightful. It has a wide selection of very relevant chapters, all of which contain succinct advice and commentary on different aspects of the writer's craft. The book is like a smorgasbord - you can eat from as many dishes as you like at one sitting and go up for seconds regularly. It's a great dip in and out of book.
