The book also explores issues outside of academic study such as stress, lifestyle and extra-curricular activities. In this new edition, the author has reflected on the more recent changes in students’ approaches to learning that have coincided with increasing access to technology, as well as the impact of increased class sizes and widening participation.
About the Author
Phil Race was awarded a National Teaching Fellowship in 2007 for his work with students and staff on learning, teaching and assessment. He works part-time at Leeds Metropolitan University as Visiting Professor of Assessment, Learning and Teaching, and also travels widely running workshops with staff and students across the UK and far beyond. He is also author of the bestselling book How to Win as a Final Year Student (Open University Press, 2000).
