I'm an illustration student, I bought this book recently and am really pleased with it. It goes through everything you need to become an illustrator ie how to create an invoice, who to contact at companies etc- things that aren't necessarily covered at uni. The interviews with practising illustrators are refreshingly honest and insightful- not just 'PC vs Mac?' nonsense- and I've found the book pretty inspiring!

Excellent book..... Full of useful information about the British illustration scene. Well worth buying if you're interested in becoming a freelance illustrator as it covers things like copyright, agents and fees, subjects that aren't usually covered in art schools...
