Being a skeptic of anything considered psychic, supernatural or out of the ordinary, I approached this book with an open mind, not expecting to be touched by its manner and the advice it gives. After losing someone very close to me, I took the view that any chance to reconnect would help with the loss and the void that that person had left behind.
That the way this book approaches the almost taboo subject is one of its best attributes. It isn't the Derek Acorah; dramatic approach that we're all used to seeing on our televisions, it's friendly, reassuring and never patronizing.
This is a book that teaches that not is all lost when someone passes on, that they will always be with you, you just have to open your mind and heart to them, it also has a definitive undertone of positivity that gives the author a light hearted voice.
I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to reconnect with a lost loved one, or just looking for a sense of closure.
