Full of up-to-the minute information. Lots of good straightforward sensible advice -gives practical information in an increasingly competitive world. Case studies of those who have suceeded in the industry are very illuminating. Mr Leverton's take on the industry is pragmatic yet positive.

Even when you've been freelancing for several years there are always areas that you could work on. In my case it's time management - and I found Marc Leverton's chapter on this very useful. Just getting someone else's viewpoint on things you do every day can be very helpful. I'd recommend this book.

This book covers all you need to know to become successful as a freelancer in the journalism industry. Marc Leverton shares his wide and ever expanding knowledge on writing for the media/magazines in an informative way, providing tips on how to succeed and get your writing published! I have first hand experience at succeeding as a journalist as a direct result of the advice Marc provides. This book is most definitely a must have for all budding and accomplished journlists, and believe me you will not be disappointed by the results!
