Kane and Wilder have produced some of the finest self-protection books on the market, but this is arguably their most important to date. Why? Because it's aimed squarely at the people who need it most, young people. In the past the authors have produced weighty tomes which are fantastic reference guides for those interested in the whole breadth, depth and history of the subject. But this book is short, sharp and to the point, hitting you with the facts you need, and no more. And the idea to illustrate it in comic book style is nothing short of inspired. Read it yourself, but more importantly, give it to young people at your club, dojo, school or neighbourhood so they can learn to avoid a fight, as well as win one.
