4.0 out of 5 stars Great Kids Book! 2 Oct. 2013
By Bear - Published on
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a review.

The story is about a young boy named Bobby who doesn't want to eat his vegetables, or anything healthy for that matter. Bobby only wants a diet of snacks and soda however his improper diet leads to Bobby changing into a monster. Bobby learns some valuable life lessons during his adventure to turn human again.

While not what I was expecting(I was expecting a younger kids book), this was a great book that teaches an important lesson. This book would be perfect for older kids who want to read on their own, or younger ones that have a longer attention span for longer books. The story is just plain cute.

My only wish is that there were just a few more illustrations, the ones that are in the book are so cute, I would love to see more of them!

My son really liked this book. He has read it over and over. Great for kids. He also read the second one.
3.0 out of 5 stars Teacher read aloud 30 Sept. 2013

This is a good book to start a unit on nutrition in an elementary classroom. It is short enough for a teacher to read aloud and get students thinking about making healthy food choices.

I like the story line. It teaches children a good lesson about eating right to have more energy. The illustrations are cute, but it needs editing by a good proofreader.
