My sister bought this beautiful book for my 7-year old daughter. Whether you are a fan of the Cicely Mary Barker books or not, this book can't fail to delight any girl who likes fairies. Every page has a different place where fairies can be found, and the pop-ups are incredibly detailed with holes to peek into, flaps to lift and things to fascinate every time the book is opened.

Even though this book is a pop-up book I wouldn't recommend it for young children as the intricate pages could be damaged by eager little fingers!

This is a truly beautiful book. It's a "pop-up" book like none I have ever seen before. I bought it for my grand daughter and I am going to have a very hard job actually giving it to her. Really I want to keep it for myself!!

What a lovely and enchanting book! My daughter (5 years) thinks this is just marvellous. She uses it as a bible and thoroughly serches the garden from top to bottem Fairy spotting.

Weel worth it!

My brother bought this book for my daughters 6th birthday. It is one of the most beautiful and well written childrens books I have ever seen, and that is saying something as we have 100's of books. I sat and read it and my daughter kept saying WOW at the pop ups, this book is for keeps and to pass onto grandchildren in the future.

The book arrived very promptly, in better condition than described. My grand-daughter (aged 9) wrote to say that ' it was the nicest present she ever had', what more can I say?

This is the most beautiful book I own. I have to admit that I originally bought it for myself but have now, reluctantly, given it to my 6 year old little girl. I just love it - we sit in her bed and look through the pages always managing to find something we hadn't seen before and it never fails to transport us to a place of magic. I would suggest it is not for younger children though as it is quite intricate. I always ensure my 3 year old is not around when we look at it.

My son's fiancee is 24, mad about anything to do with fairies and was really thrilled with this book. Every page is a delight.

Pop-up books have come a long way since I was little. This is beautifully engineered to materialise easily as you turn the page, and close again. Each page being a voyage of discovery into the fairy kingdom. I think for young children, this is a special book to keep for bedtime, looked at with an adult to supervise the careful handling of the book, and as a special treat at the end of the day. I'm sure children would readily get through bathtime, etc. to reach the stage of looking at this book, peering into all the secret places, and having someone read all the little descriptions.
