3.0 out of 5 stars Virtually unreadable on a kindle 16 Oct. 2013

It looks like a great introduction to drawing. Unfortunately it looks like the kindle version is just a bunch of scanned pages. You can't zoom in on. With the text being as small as it is it is very hard to read.

I tried viewing the book on the web reader, a paperwhite, kindle for android, and kindle desktop app. Same issue across the board.

Whether a beginner manga student, or an advanced sketcher, this ebook has tips and hands-down lessons to keep one's interest and desire to learn intact for hours. Even shows how to do cartoons; not necessarily the Manga type.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Decent Addition to Any Art Reference Shelf 5 May 2013

I own more than a dozen drawing series, not even including single titles. I won't say it was the worst but it certainly could have been better. This would have been better if the author had taken the time to really expand on some of the subjects. All of that aside, this is a good resource for beginners and has great advice for any artist at any stage. I look forward to more.
