I bought this book in a bit of a rush just after I had been invited on my first assessment centre - and I got the job!
The book is easy to read (shouldn't take more than two evenings to cover all the sections) and tells you what to expect at an assessment centre and gives a few example scenarios/tests at the same time.
Not everything that you can expect at an assessment centre is covered in the book, however it does give you an idea of how to behave and what the assessors are looking for.

A very useful guide to prepare you for any kind of assessment centre, I've literally just arrived home from the first stage of an assessment centre and feel fortunate to have read this book prior to attending. Ok you won't be doing every kind of assessment contained within the pages, however it gets your mind in the zone of logical thinking and makes best use of your limited time. Great value, great buy.

Purchased this book to prepare for an assessment center experience in order to obtain a senior level executive position in a Fortune 500 company. The book provided insight and examples of what to expect. The examples will give you even more tips and suggestions to prepare and excel. The book was written for a U.K. audience and examples using currency, size, length, weight or distance were in metric or British pounds and pence. But, that won't take away from message.
If you have time, the book recommends other books in the series for additional help in specific areas. If you have limited amount of time, it's the perfect overview of what to expect.
