Book Description

16 Aug 2010

What if you could cure your panic attacks ; or, as one of the reviewers of the book said: "wake up without panic attacks"? I always thought that was impossible. I had panic attacks for 14 years and thought they would never end. But they did!

I had to follow certain steps to overcome my panic attacks, my anxiety attacks. This book will teach you everything I've done to overcome my fears and anxious feelings. You'll also get access to Free Online Videos that will help you to overcome the causes of your anxiety. It's important to know what's causing your panic attacks. Those causes are not in your past (nobody can change the past). We'll change the 'now', so you can have a different future. One without panic attacks.

When Panic Attacks and Anxiety take over your life, a dark period begins. Worry takes over and things that should be fun are not fun anymore.

When you start to avoid doing certain things, when you try to find excuses to not go somewhere or do something, this book is for you.

I have had this problem for 14 years, including:
- generalized anxiety disorder
- panic attacks
- agoraphobia
- social phobia
- fear of driving or traveling
- a stressful feeling 24/7

with symptoms like a racing heart, a dry mouth and a red face, nausea, dizziness, headaches, a feeling of warmth going through my body, and some aches and pains everywhere in my body . The doctors couldn't find anything and all my therapist did was prescribe more pills that gave me side-effects.

In 2004 I found a way out and since then I've been sharing my method with other people all over the world. It's not a miracle, it's not a magic cure but it seems to work very well for the people who give it a try.

In this book you will learn techniques that will stop your anxiety and panic attacks. They will teach you how to do things again with friends and family so you can actually ENJOY everything you do instead of fearing it.

I'm glad to have you on board and I wish you the best of luck!

5.0 out of 5 stars Jittery Husband 9 Aug 2013
By vicky
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Hi, my normally very laid back husband came to me with a list of symptoms & was worried what was wrong with him. Having suffered with anxiety for years & been successfully cured of it, I suggested he had anxiety and pointed him to the doctor for some beta blockers. In the mean time I arranged him some counselling & researched a concise 'mans' guide' to kicking anxiety for good.

The beta blockers gave his mind space to heal. The counselling pin pointed the cause. The book explained anxiety in a way that he felt he had control over it. With an IQ of 160, he has to understand things in order to feel comfortable. This book was perfect. No frilly, girls anecdotes. Just one guy relaying his experience & practical techniques to taking control over your life gain. My husband went from feeling like a weak failure to a powerful career man, father & provider again, with the necessary skills to do so successfully.

A fabulous book for guys.

5.0 out of 5 stars Short, sweet and to the point! 13 Jun 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
After watching geert explain about his problems and how he eliminated them on YouTube I thought 2 things,
1- what a charismatic and intelligent guy he his

2- why has it taken me this long to find him.

I have complying with the "linden method" for a while now and although extremely helpful and informative I found that it did not address the specific issues that I had, this book did,
It is full of tips, techniques and advice on what to do before, during and after a panic attack which although some would say " der, that's obvious" how many would have actually tried that technique, and believe me it works!
I honestly have to say that this book is a little gem!
Thanks Geert!

Working as a counsellor/psychotherapist for a number of years I have read several self-help books on the subject of panic and anxiety and along with Claire Weeks's book Self Help For Your Nerves this book gives an informative and common sense approach to tackling the above subject. The first step to curing anxiety and panic is to fully understand how the body's "alarm" system works. I have also subscribed to Geert's CD Program and it is clear that he has spent a great deal of time researching the emotional, physical and psychological factors associated with panic and anxiety. Anyone suffering from panic attacks would benefit from reading this book, listening to his CD program and putting into practice the techniques which he himself has tried and tested.
