This is an interesting book and as someone who has spent about a year doing small investments on the stock market I found it a useful reference book. The book is also good in that it takes a step back and weighs the pros and cons of different strategic investment decisions.
However, I found you still need a basic level of knowledge and experience about investment options. It is not really a total beginner's guide to how to invest in the stock markets. In some instances, i found the descriptions (particularly of different terms like the p/e ratio) unclear and I had to re-read it a paragraph a few times or check other sources to understand what was being said. There may be better books out there than this, although I haven't read other books so I cannot comment.
Basically this book is useful if you have a bit of experience (say you have made a couple of investment decisions) and you'd like a reference guide to understanding some of the jargon and different investors' investment strategies.
