If you want to open a shop on Etsy or if you have a shop and you want to improve your salesthe look of your shop and you don't know how, you must buy this book. In my opinion, this book is much more then a book about get successful sales on Etsy, with this book you will learn step by step, in a simple and clear way, how to open your shop, to make a beautiful banner, to choose a name for your shop, what means to be in the Etsy community,what is Etsy as a marketplace and so many other things.
At the end of each chapter there are summarized "the action steps" that you must take, so believe me, it is impossible to fail. Along the book you will learn things about the importance of photos, blogs, twitter,tags, tittles etc, but everything is explained in a very simple language, with figures and diagrams that even me, which I have not English as mother language, I fully understand everything. The author, Derrick Sutton has creates a site where you can contact him if you have any questions, and he will reply to you, no doubt about this, as he did to me, he is a very nice person. I must confess that since I bought this book I have it in my bedside table. In my opinion this book will turn a bible for all Etsy sellers....

Originally I got this book through my local library. There are so many books out there it is hard to tell from the cover which ones are really worth buying. This one was fantastic so I bought it. Some of the advice is so simple I probably should have thought of it myself. Easy to use book and good step by step instructions. He tells you why you are doing these things and if something is nice to have but not urgent he will tell you. The idea is to work through by chapter as each is it's own project. It you want to miss one this is fine as you can always go back later if you want. This is why I bought the book, it is something I will be working through for a while.
