"How to See Fairies ... in Six Weeks" is not just a joke and it is no rip-off. There is no New Age twaddle or prattling. This book tells you in very simple steps how to muzzle your chattering ape's brain and how to allow your Unconscious Mind to show you the wonders of the spiritual world all around you -- and inside of you. I love Ramsey Dukes and have all of his books, which are all very straight-forward and witty guides to developing your magical facilities. He has a wicked tongue-in-cheek sense of humor as you can tell by the ironic title and by his pseudonym (a pun on "Ramses II"). Read the introduction of the book (the "Look Inside!" link) and see why I love Ramsey Dukes ... and why your ape's brain will love him too ... and will learn to stop chattering non-stop ... and finally discover the hidden psychic powers you have always had.

This book is a six week course on how to tap into your latent psychic abilities and sense the world around you in a different way (including seeing fairies if that's your thing). The book is based on an online course Ramsey Dukes taught, and the book includes comments from his students regarding their progress with the various exercises.
The book is comprised of six weeks of exercises:
Week 1 Softening the Boundaries: learning to pay attention to all your senses.
Week 2 A Sense of Place: using your heightened sense perception to assess your environment and your place in it.
Week 3 Dowsing and Divining: tuning into your clairvoyant abilities.
Week 4 Playing with Tarot: learning to use the cards in a playful and intuitive way.
Week 5 Devas, Auras - The Great Arcanum: The secret to seeing nature spirits and auras (sort of a "fake it until you make it" approach).
Week 6: Seeing Auras, A Final Step: Further thoughts, exercises and ideas expanding on week 5.
The book itself is written in a friendly, conversational manner. The exercises (I have only done a handful thus far) are fun to do. At the very least you will gain a heightened sense of the world around you and a better appreciation of nature from doing these exercises. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to develop their psychic ability or get more in tune with nature.

Ramsey Dukes is a great author. This book takes the form of a class he taught at Arcanorum and has questions from students and the answers plus their experiences. I definitely recommend this at a starting point in increasing your psychic awareness.
