Product Description

Review

Small handbook by two 16-year-olds from New York who recognize that not only do most parents not embarrass their children deliberately, but 'they are actually oblivious to our steady discomfort'. If you're a parent of teens and you want to stop your children cringing because of what you wear/say/buy or, sometimes, just because you're there, here's a comprehensive list of dos and don'ts. For example, don't wear tight trousers, laugh at your own jokes, tell your life story to the waiter, hug kids on school premises or call them pet names in front of their friends. And that's just for starters. (Kirkus UK)

Product Description

Teenagers Zack and Travis faced a serious problem. Was it drugs? Alcohol? Violence in the classroom? No, it was their parents. It's simple to use, any misguided parent can learn something with this list of don'ts.

This is the best one-liner handbook of the season 14 Mar 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Everyone should read "How Not to Embarrass Your Kids". Parents with teens will love it. Teen agers themselves will howl. A must-read by two Huck Finn type of sixteen year olds. Simply sensational one-liners!

A great mother's or father's day gift! 21 April 1999
By Danny Sherman (dsherman@aol.com) - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
To Teenagers: these are all realistic things that embarrass you or annoy you. You'll be able to help your parents out a lot. To Parents: you can't deny that you do these things, so pick up a copy and help yourself and your kid. They'll thank you for it.

Very funny and wise, too! 30 Oct 2000
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
A book that is just as funny for adults as it is for teens. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and could see where teens would cringe when well-meaning adults acted in what they thought were "cool" and "hip" ways. I've done it myself many times! A great, breezy read.
