Sometimes when everything on TV seems rubbish, I stop it from being rubbish and make it awesome. To do this I watch a show called HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER.
`How I Met Your Mother' is a US sitcom which opens in 2030 where Ted begins to tell his kids the story of how he met their mother. In the beginning, it goes back to 2005 when Ted's best friend Marshall asks his long-term girlfriend, Lily, to marry him. This makes Ted realise what he is missing so he sets out to meet his future wife. With the help of his other best friend, Barney, Ted meets Robin, the girl of his dreams, but things aren't quite as simple as that...
And that's just the start!
I've been watching this show each week for a few years now so to watch them all again in big chunks at a time in this complete boxset has been an absolute treat. The comedy is sharp, witty and intelligent. The storylines are fast-paced but the story of how Ted actually meets the mother is starting to drag a little now (just meet her already please!). The characters are excellent and the acting is great, feeling like these five 20-somethings really are best friends.
Individually I'd definitely rate each of the first four seasons a solid 5 stars each, but the quality does drop slightly in season 5 (I'd still give this 4 stars) but I've been watching season 6 and can happily say it has got back up to 5 star quality again now.
Overall I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a highly addictive and very funny sitcom as it is truly Legen-(wait for it)-DARY!

I bought this because I simply wanted to try and get into how I met your mother.... I got it about 4 weeks ago and have completely hooked and got the rest of the family hooked as well!! Would highly recommend!!

This is by far the most funniest and down to earth comedy for a long time. The story is forever hooking you in whilst the the comedy keeps you laughing.
I would recommend this to anyone and if your reading reviews to decide to buy it or not, DO IT because it's legend, wait for it,........ DARY!

Just buy, you won't be let down, 112 episodes of pure ledgendness for only 27 quid, yes. Don't even think about it, thinking to much doesn't work, get it.
