Like one of the other reviewers I bought this CD on the strength of the Buffy theme - and discovered the same guitar sound punctuated with some of the best & funniest lyrics around... In particular the teenage nerd angst double-act of Lamer Than Lame / Feeling Bad stand out for me, but every song is pure class & based in the real world. A band like Wheatus should take note - no way does the girl of your dreams turn up one day with concert tickets in her hand......

I went out on a limb and bought this album after hearing only the buffy theme....I am now eternally grateful to that limb. I was getting bored of many of my CD's and wanted a change and this was it. As some-one has said forget upstarts like Wheatus, Nerf Herder are all you need if your into this kind of nerdy punk. You just have to listen to the lyrics to pervert!!!!! An incredible album!

You have got buy this album. I listen to stuff like Green Day, Tonic, Goo Goo Dolls and right the way through to Led Zep, Pink Floyd, you know the kinda stuff. The best description is a cross between Green Day and something else. The Lyrics are funny, the drummming is loud and fast, all the kinda stuff you want from punk/grunge or whatever you call it these days. I'm getting on a bit now so i've accumulated quite a few CD's and vinyl albums (cor, do you remember those, crackle crackle etc)and this is the most listened to at the moment. My best buy of the year. I cant wait for the next album!

This album is great for a laugh, many of the tracks have great lyrics. I have owned this album for quite a while now and I still like most of the songs on here. If you are into punk-pop then I would recommend this album, there are some great tracks, Lamer Than Lame, Feeling Bad, Pantera Fans In Love, 5000 Ways To Die, For you are all great songs which can be listened to over and over, the rest are good and enjoyable as well, but these strike me as the best
Nerf Herder manage to make everything a joke, this was shown in their first album and is carried on into this album. Though nothing on this album has the immediate novelty appeal of Van Halen, over all I believe this is a better, more enjoyable album.

This album, although didn't have me laughing FROM BEGINNING TO END, it did have hilarious moments, such as 'Pervert', if you're a fan of hole, or just heard of her there's 'Courtney' and 'Feeling Bad'. Nerf Herder, for me, are more Descendents than Blink 182. They have the "Nerdy" sense of songwriting (geek loses girl sort of thing) and the powerful melodies and riffs, and consistently great bassists. Descendents had Tony Lombardo, Doug Carrion (of Dag Nasty) and Karl Alvarez (also of ALL.) I feel like I'm rambling, wait, yes I certainly am rambling. This album is great, the pinnacle of the album being 'Life On Mars' Brilliant stuff Nerf Herder!!

Yes this album rocks, its class. One guy has reviewed this album and gone on about bands like Offspring and Blink 182 goin all commerical mainstream. I personally don't blame them, bands like those work there socks off for years and don't make any money, my hat goes off to them making some good money while they can. BLINK 182 and OFFSPRING RULE!!! (so do Nerf Herder, buy this CD)
