If you want to make whips, buy this book - it's that simple.

This book has all the basic information you need to make high quality whips from cow-hide and kangaroo hide. Being the work of an Australian whip-maker, you'll find the emphasis on the Australian style of cattle-whip (the stock-whip) rather than the American style (the bull-whip). Some people who are steeped in the American "Indiana Jones", "Catwoman" and "Rawhide" culture may regret the absence of a great deal of bull-whip information ... but don't let that deter you. Not only is a lot of Edward's book applicable to both whip types, but the stock-whip is a superior item anyway. Forget cowboys, think stockmen, and you'll be VERY happy with a 'roo-hide stock-whip!
