About the Author

A internet geek, health freak and keen drummer with around 100 websites to my name, I started my career promoting a goal setting website while I was at uni studying music. When uni finished I used all my remaining student loan to buy microphones and set myself up as one of the first of a new breed of online session drummers, recording myself from home for folks over the internet. As part of this I taught myself to build websites and began to learn about direct response and online advertising. Over time the business grew and eventually I decided to write a book showing other drummers how to do this. The book took off so I decided to film a DVD course and that did well too, so I stopped drumming and started helping other musicians to go professional and take their careers into their own hands. My next change of direction came when I got chatting to my next door neighbour, who was a plasterer in need of work. He mentioned that he didn't have a website and with my background in the online scene this absolutely horrified me. So I had a look at some other trademen websites and built Ben one. I ran a few ads and did some promotion and sort of forgot about it. A few months later Ben rang to say that the website had completely transformed his business once it got to the top of Google and that he'd referred me to some other tradesmen he knew that needed sites. And so my tradesmen's website business was born. As time went on, I branched out and within 18 months I had built and promoted around 70 sites for everyone from plumbers to life coaches. The Google book followed and subsequently blew up and I haven't stopped since. I established Exposure Ninja and recruited a team of web ninjas to help in my various quests. In my spare 25 minutes every other month I enjoy playing football with my girlfriend (how cool is that), going to the gym, playing in my band and building websites for friends and family* *Actually I don't really enjoy this last one that much, but it's cool to be able to help
