I found the book to be full of very useful information. It allowed me to communicate to the local authority from an informed position. This made the process much easier than it may have otherwise been. I would recommend this book to any layperson in need of planning permission.

this book is perfectly fine for someone new to the planning process - but most of the information is freely available on the internet.
When i hand over money for a book like this i want a clear insight into winning.
The authors need to add information on 'change of use' which is about the helping to unlock the strange and Misty world of council planning departments.
