I already own Tanya's previous book
Dude, Where's My Career?: The Guide for Baffled Graduates and decided to buy this more updated version.
This one (like the last) is written in a funny, helpful and understanding way. It throws all of that awful, dull career advice from schools and universities out of the window and starts anew on a level you can empathise with.
The book is well written with separate sections on elements such as interviews, applications, job search and even incorporating social media into our job searches.
It remains light hearted at times and has picked me up when i've felt down. You feel as if Tanya genuinely cares (and knows what she is talking about).
I would also like to add that alot of the advice contained within this book could be for anyone looking for a job (not just Grads) -esp interview and application advice.
This would also make a great gift to someone you know who is struggling to find a graduate job, finding a job is a difficult and lonely process but this book has really helped me (and given me some laughs along the way!)
...I have read sections of this book before several interviews and the advice has definitely helped and just this week i was offered my first 'proper' job! :)
