I have copies of a few How to.. books by other authors that are relegated to the book shelf, but I keep How to Draw Graphic Novel Style by Andy Fish open on my drafting table. I don't think I've seen anything like the emotions sequences in Chapter 9 (pages 146 - 151); it's really really helpful and useful. There are lots of great pointers, for example if you use Photoshop, and on creating model sheets for character design. Lots of very practical advice thruout plus the wire binder allows the book to sit open on your drafting table without having to fuss with keeping it open on the page of interest.
