its unfair of reviewer Nicci D to give this 3 stars because he/she expected something different. i mean, just because the title contains "hot wheels" doesn't mean its a kids book
& technically, the title is correct. [its just Nicci D's interpretation of it that isn't]
for the book itself, i don't think its worth 5 stars. i mean, sometimes mr robertson refers to types of cars without showing you pictures of them, which is a pain if he's saying something like "car type A1 shows X & Y..."
but this is a minor gripe. & i've given it 5 stars anyway because the content deserves it
in general, its a really good book. it teaches you how to draw cool cars in perspective. and to color them in too (or 'render' them). both digitally & traditionally
specifically, there are 3 long tutorials. one on drawing a car using 'sections' (you'll see when u do it) & 2 rendering cars (one using photoshop. the other using pens & paint i think). along with this you get what mr robertson has to say about his experiences of drawing cars for hot wheels & lots & lots of cool hot wheels drawings by lots of different artists
