I avoided moving from NOF 9 to NOF 11 due to some rather negative reviews. However, after playing with Expression Web, which I found very user unfriendly, I decided to accept the current NOF upgrade offer (a gift!) and try NOF again. The reviews were completely wrong and, for someone like myself, who is not a computer nerd and simply wants an easy to use piece of software that can produce professional looking sites with the minimum of difficulty, it is excellent. However, I find that documentation in pdf format is not that easy to use and, although I agree that the book does not add so much beyond that, it is a book, well indexed and well written.
So, for anyone who wants to use Fusion 11, I would recommend this book as it contains all the essentials in an easy to read format.

This book does not cover everything in NOF 11.
NOF can action php/mysql providing your Internet Service Provider has the correct support tools. NOF can easily display static Database records but is unable to support a Dynamic Insert, Update and Delete capability. NOF does claim a Dynamic capability but their support team could not provide a working solution even after a number of support ticket requests.

Fusion 11 How to do "Somethings" would be a more apt title to describe the book as the book title is not absolutely accurate as there is a major area that is missing which is video display and insertion. It is a very useful addition to the dreadful Fusion "Help" and the appalling Fusion support where they don't read emails correctly and take a long time to respond. Therefore as you are now backed into a corner this book is a now a fantastic resource to help you through the Fusion 11 software.

I bought this book hoping that it would show some advanced features, but sadly it only contained the basics which you could find in the standard information with the product.

If you have just purchased the software and want a good overview of the software this may be ideal, otherwise it is useless.

As a computer engineer I've never seen such rubbish - this book misses out the basics from page one and unless people know how to bypass the relevent details for websites designed with this program allowing it to be compatable with different browsers they might as well forget this book.

total rubbish and a waste of money................
