5.0 out of 5 stars Thom York of RADIOHEAD based his song on this book !, 26 Aug 2000
By A Customer
Thom York of RADIOHEAD based his song on this book. It is slightly outdated now - but it is quite clever in the way it makes it seem som easy to vanish from the face of the earth. Only available from the US.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, mostly credible, but hard to verify., 12 Nov 1998
By A Customer
After reading this book, I spent hours at the public library copying obituaries of baby boys who were born and died around my birthday. I wanted to prepare myself to assume another identity one day. It was a delicious obsession, and exhilarating.

I have never done anything with them, and wonder how hard it would be to get certified copies of birth certificates without identification. Plus, how does one make absolutely sure the birth and death records are not cross referenced?

This book needs to be updated very bady. So many new technologies are being used in ID today, and I simply cannot trust that the information is reliable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Remember, the FBI is watching., 19 Jun 1998
By A Customer
I have not read this book, not under this name. But, if you plan to read it, I recommend you buy it at a bookstore where you don't have to give your name. Remember, the FBI is watching.
