Product Description

The purpose of this handbook is to familiarise the reader with both simple and more sophisticated methods of producing printed circuit boards (PCBs). The subject is not covered in a vague and purely theoretical manner as the emphasis of the book is very much on the practical aspects of printed circuit board design and construction. Chapter one deals with simple methods of copying PCB designs from magazines and books and covers all aspects of simple PCB construction as comprehensively as possible. Chapter two covers photographic methods of producing PCBs. Chapter three deals with most aspects of designing your own PCB layouts.

4.0 out of 5 stars Informative 22 Mar 2002
By A Customer
This book takes you through the basics of the two main PCB production methods, direct artwork and photographic method.
Although it is a little old now, this book contains all the nescesary techniques and information to start making a PCB.
This book, however only touches on the design of PCB's, and really only covers production.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nostalgia! 30 Mar 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Excellent book. I had a copy previously but lost it, or lent it out and never got it back. Many things in it are still relevant but readers should remember that it was first published in 1983. It is from the excellent range of Bernard Babani books most of which need bringing up to date. I have a lot of the series and reading or consulting them takes me back to when I was a Radio and Television/Electronics Technician.
