Read this book from cover to cover. It is a clever book about manipulating people in a country politically to rule your very own nation. It foucses more on real life manipulation of the media and people and though humorous thoughs who are looking for over the top movie-esq super villiany might wan't to look elsewere

enjoyed this short book on how to conquer a nation. i may not use the valuable tactics to actually do so, but it does make you think you may already have been subject to such action by others. v funny and insightful. well done.

Many thanks for this book, it helped immensely with my invasion plans, and I am now looking to expand my sphere of influence by invading another country so I have somewhere to put my feet up at the weekends when not busily trampling down the peasants revolts. Hopefully somewhere with water-slides and decent swimming pools, plus ice cream, you can never have enough ice cream.

Primetime knowledge dropper 23 Dec. 2012

Talk about a "how-to" book! Never would I have thought conquering nations could be done with such grace and ease. This book is a true manual to complete world domination. I thought I had a good grasp on what I was doing however, once I read the first few pages it became evident to me that I wasn't going about my conquering in the most efficient nor methodical way. This book has guided me step by step to conquering my life, my household, my employers, my county and state, and eventually another Nation! I began feeling like George W. during the first few chapters and now I feel like Churchill leading a charge across many lands!

"We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." -Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill

That moment: When you realize there really is light at the end of the tunnel... 23 Dec. 2012
By Pemberley Elizabeth - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
After several attempts at conquering various European nations with minimal success, I came across Matt Byron's "How to Conquer a Nation". This book has proven to be the fundamental component of my plans for world domination and I've already conquered two nations this week! (I'll be taking the next several days off for the Christmas holiday.) Packed with helpful hints such as burning leaders in effigy, massive robot armies and making well thought out To-Do lists on brightly colored stationary, this book has been invaluable in my plans. In particular, the section on effective time management has changed everything.
While normally I would highly recommend this book, it occurs to me that competition for world domination could hamper my future plans. So...don't read it. Maybe just buy it and look at it lovingly every now and then.

Great and Entertaining Read 26 Dec. 2012

Well.. I am not sure if I will ever take over the world, but with this book Matt once again provides an uplifting, entertaining account of how to motivate yourself, how to be a better person and how to accomplish your goals. Well written, exciting and an easy read!

Too real. 22 Jan. 2014
By Joseph McGarry - Published on Amazon.com

This book is almost too real. Some of the tactics used here are real ones that have been used in the past. One line in here is "Don't let a crisis go to waste.", which is what former Obama chief of staff and current mayor of Chicago Rahm Emanuel once said.

Met and exceeded expectations 22 Jan. 2014

The author's stated objective in writing this book was "to vent my political frustrations." He must be very frustrated, The intelligent and accurate observations, penned with tongue planted firmly and securely in cheek also helped to identify and vent my political frustrations. They also demonstrate a wry knowledge of human behavior and motivation. Matt Byron's hope that readers "found it both thought provoking and humorous." certainly came to fruition in this satirical work.

I roared with laughter and recommend that this book be read sitting in a comfortable chair, with no food close by so that one does not fall and injure themselves or choke on an edible item. This book is a delightful read, and also an insightful social/political commentary on our times.

If you have no sense of humor this book is not for you.
