How to Coach with NLP is one of the better books I've read on the subject of coaching. Robbie Steinhouse neatly integrates practical instruction with more intriguing and challenging concepts to ponder. I'm an experienced coach, and I've found the information here very helpful (sometimes as a reminder of stuff I've known for a while, sometimes providing an entirely new way of thinking about a coaching situation).

Very useful book - highly recommended.

We chose this book for our NLP study and skills practice group which meets weekly. It is comprehensive and easy to use. Those new to NLP and our more highly experienced members found it useful in preparing for the session and each chapter was an excellent basis for discussion. We would happily recommend it.

I am an executive coach and How to Coach with NLP is a great resource which has helped me to refine my coaching model and approach. I had been coaching instinctively while working as a banker, but after completing a coaching course early last year, I wanted to practice my formally developed skills and find further tools to use while working in service of my clients. Two NLP courses over the past year have allowed me to do this, and this book in particular is a great summary of how NLP can be used in the coaching context.

The book is well structured, providing a brief overview of NLP before honing in specifically on how to apply this particular 'frame' to coaching. In particular, the author has provided quite practical suggestions about how to actually engage with a client from preparation through to ending the coaching engagment. There are further chapters which offer specific tools to apply depending on what issues the client is facing.

The book is easy to ready, straight forward and provides many gems in the form of comments, philosophies and particular methodologies which can be adapted and made one's own. This is now one of my preferred coaching reference books along with The Psychology of Executive Coaching: Theory and Application, More Time to Think: A Way of Being in the World, Excellence in Coaching: The Industry Guide, and Relational Coaching: Journeys Towards Mastering One to One Learning

Well done, Robbie and thank you! (L. Gayle)
