We bought this book after deciding we wanted to try for a boy for our first baby. In all honesty the book is full of self promoting rubbish about how wonderful Dr Shettles is, and then just 2 chapters about how to actually conceive either sex.
Some of it is really interesting and I'm glad I have read it, but it's a bit too regimented for us.

After reading the review about this book I thought I would buy it along with 2 others. I must say it didn't appeal to me, it was very clinical and bland. The authors seem to preach their own method as the only one that works. I felt like I never found the exact part in the book that said what we needed to do in order to concieve the sex of the child we were hoping for.
To be honest, it has been cast to one side and still looks as new as the day I brought it. :o(
It certainly didn't help us on our quest and personally I'd look at the other books available.

This book is okay... There is really a few pages that really tell u what to do the others is all about how great Dr Shettel is.

Nicely written and useful book
I read this book and the Shettles book. Preferred this book. Liked the way it was written and made sense to me. By the way, was trying for a girl and it worked for me !!

Loved it
I highly recommend this book, whether you want to try for a particular sex or just want helps conceiving. It's very easy to understand and follows and makes total sense.
