Product Description

Our guide will show you everything you need to know to take care of a ferret, including special "no bite" training methods.

Because their needs are quite different from those of other pets there's a bit of a learning curve to taking care of them and training them, so we've put together the Skinny Report on Ferrets to help you with exactly that.

Inside our report you'll discover:

[*] 4 common myths about ferrets (p. 26).

[*] How to choose your ferret, including the differences between males and female ferrets (p. 32).

[*] Which appliances are dangerous to your ferret plus other ways to make your home safe (p. 37).

[*] Tips for "no-bite" training your ferret (p. 61)

[*] Common ferret disease and conditions (p. 75).

[*] How to choose the right cage for your ferret (p. 98)

[*] Which places have laws against ferrets (p. 103).

[*] The types of tricks you can teach your ferret (p. 110).

[*] Do ferrets bother people with pet allergies? (p. 112).

[*] The proper diet for your ferret (including the type of protein they must not eat) (p. 52)

[*] Plus much, much more!

Because ferrets are relatively new to the pet scene, and because most ferret difficulties are a result of their owners mistreating them, it's important you get the right information. If you've had any hesitation about purchasing a ferret, please read this guide.

Before you get a ferret, buy this book. You need it. If you already have a ferret and need help training it, buy this book. The number one thing I learned from the book is that ferrets are just different. They're not like dogs and cats and even though they are domesticated you need to have different expectations. I was glad I read it before we decided to purchase a ferret because now I think we'll get two from the beginning. Absolutely everything you need to know is in this book from purchasing a ferret to care and feeding. As a soon-to-be ferret owner I really appreciated the section on feeding and training. Any buyer needs to know what to look for when buying from a pet store. Kudos to the author. I feel prepared and confident to add ferrets to our family.
Loved this as a new ferret owner 26 July 2011

Well I have to say that I was a bit confused as far as taking care of my ferret was concerned. I mean, I had the basic knowledge from what they told me at the pet store but that was about it. I knew what to fed him and how to change his cage lol. He kept biting myself and my son and it was quite painful. I knew I had to do something because after having him two weeks my son was terrified every time he was out of his cage, and my son is the one who begged to get a ferret for three months now.

I am really glad I picked this book up though. Since I started using it four days ago, my son hasn't been bitten at all and I have only had one incident myself. These are confusing little creatures and ferrets man's new best friend really takes the time to explain them pretty well.

If you are a new ferret owner, or you simply want to know how to properly train your ferret, give this book a go and see the results for yourself!
