How to be a Knight 29 Jan 2009
Format:Hardcover
This is a wonderful book, I bought it for my son (4 years) for christmas. He is really into knights, and loves this book. Other than that it is a beautify book, well illustrated, giving loads of information about Knights, it is targeted at an older age group but my 4 year old loves it and it is great to spend time with him going through the book.

This is a great book with detailed explanation of the requirements to be a knight. It has lift up flaps for children to explore further information upon such topics as shields, castles, etc. I have bought it to share with my class and they loved it!

Arise Sir Knight! 16 Feb 2007
By Rosslock VINE™ VOICE
Format:Hardcover
This is excellent. I bought this book for my son (whose 4 months old so maybe a bit premature) and read it myself on my way home on the train.

The premise is that Sir Geoffrey is captured by the French, and writes and sends this book to his son, so his son can become a knight and save him. So basically it is a user manual on how to be a knight. It has stories, pull-outs, hints and tips on everything ranging from how to behave as a knight (always rescue damsels in distress, always tell the truth!) to tips on how to joust, and how to look after your horse.

My son is still too young for this, but I can not wait to share it with him, as I would have loved this book as a child, and indeed got a lot of pleasure out of it as an adult!
