5.0 out of 5 stars An amusing and entertaining look at feelings., 28 Feb 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: How Are You Peeling? (Hardcover)
This book discusses feelings in an enjoyable and relaxed way. It's great for introducing children to the vocabulary of feelings. Most kids (and adults) should enjoy the beautiful photographs and funny text. Children struggling with separation or loss, or just shyness or feeling left out would especially benefit from reading this book with a caring adult. Very highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic for adults who are still kids, 15 Oct 2001
By A Customer
I got this for my partner after we had seen some of the images on greeting cards. We instantly fell in love with the lovable pictures and often show the book to friends instantly raising a smile. We are both in our late 20's ;-)

5.0 out of 5 stars Images to make you smile and marvel at creative imagination, 3 Feb 2001
By A Customer
Although this book is advertised as a childrens' book, it has a much wider a'peel'. Children may find some of the expressions displayed beyond their comprehension at eight years old..for example 'frustration' but for adults it is the perfect book to make you smile and appreciate the creative ingenuity of Saxton Freymann. The book contains a series of images of fruit and vegetables pictured to make faces from their form. They are all delightful, funny and upliftingly witty. Old and young alike will enjoy it, the young seeing the faces and loving the humor, the older reader enjoying the small nuances of facial expression that give the book its universal appeal and irrepressable charm.
