If you like the classic shoot um ups in arcades you will know all about this little beauty. Now it comes right to your pc in fast paced, zombie arse kicking action. The graphics are fast and its keeps you coming back for more. Unfortunately, due to Sega's ignorance there is currently no light gun to go with this beauty, in fact there are only a few pc light guns in existence, such as the act labs gs gun system that are over priced and not compatible with hotd2. Sega do have a gun system planned but do not plan to release it until September, meaning that us gamers will have to wait a few months before we can enjoy one/two player gun action. The gun would certainly help things, as mice are a rubbish targeting device but it is still playable, and enjoyable. Many professional reviewers slate this game due to its lack of 'freedom of movement' however they are missing the point. The structured viewpoint allows the player to concentrate more on the zombie killing frenzy and less on where the hell your going. That's not to say the game is totally predictable. Miss a kill and you left going the hard way when you could have gone the easy way.
