This was brought on a whim as it was so cheap. its not a long read and has a semi good story line to it, but hell if you want a littel bit of erotic this is the one, good quick read enjoyed the story line.just dont take it to work to read as it gets a little bit steamy. LOL

The talented Katie Salidas has done it again!

Although, definitely written for adults, the author of Immortalis Carpe Noctem has tastefully given us a lot of passion in this e-book about a human, Daphne, whose heart was broken by her first love and Connor, a vampire imprisoned in a "house of ill repute" for unwittingly committing the crime of murder. His sentence is to provide sexual pleasures for money for 10 years. On his last night of imprisonment, Daphne is kidnapped by her friends and brought to Connor's place of business as a way to get over her cheating boyfriend. It's a quick read, full of excitement, passion and love.

I love Katie's work and I am sure, if you are a fan of paranormal romances, you will enjoy this piece as much as I did.

Katie Salidas has shown her wonderful and creative talent in her very first two books. Her first one Immortalis Carpe Noctem was a riveting page turning adventure into the life of a young lady who did not have a choice to be turned into a vampire. I could not put this book down and kept my full attention from page one to the end. If you have not had the privilege to read her first book, it is a must read and you will not be disappointed. She has now released her second book Immortal Pleasures which is also a vampire book, and I read this book in a total of one day because I could not put it down! It is a book full of passion, love, and is for adults but done very tastefully. It was written to portray the life of an imprisoned vampire who never felt the true love of a mortal and of a mortal woman who never knew true love period. The two came together in a flurry of unbridled passion that will leave you breathless! I give this book five stars without hesitation. And if you happen to not be into the paranormal or into vampires, give Immortal Pleasures a chance, you may be pleasantly surprised on how much you will love this book. After you have read it, please give Imortalis Carpe Noctem a chance also because once again you will not disappointed. This book was the first erotica story I have read and I must say, after reading it, I will be reading another. Katie has captured a intimate, sexy, naughty, and desirable fantasy that most can say they have had in words which I imagine is hard to do. It is absolutely enthralling from beginning to end and keeps you reading without you being able to tear your eyes from the screen. The story captures the perfect detail of what you would expect a creature of the night to deliver. You get to feel naughty and safe in your own living room,(or maybe sneaking in public). Hot! Sexy! And desirable! Katie has begun her writing on an excellent foot and I highly look forward to reading more from her in the near future!
