Exciting and different,

I enjoyed this book hugely, and it shows a completely different view of the war, not to mention asking very important questions about the way we see other people in wartime - but in a completely unpreachy way. It's a very good, exciting read, quite unputdownable, with engaging characters, and I'd recommend it to anyone buying books for their kids, who I'm certain will love it!
