I love my 'phones, and I would look at every single detail of any purchase I make.
I initially decided to invest in these 'phones as I am a great Marley fan and after reading their principles and specifications of their product, I loved how House of Marley made 'phones so that they are environmentally friendly and how it represents what Bob Marley stood for; Peace, Preservation and Unity.
After looking at their range of 'phones, I decided to invest in the Redemption Song model because it was visually appealing and, after reading reviews on it, seemed to be built of good quality sound and stable structure.
When I received them, I was delighted at how well built they were and how visual appeal wasn't any different to what attracted me on my computer screen.
The sound quality is amazing. Period.
To describe to you how good the sound is, I shall list some other headphones I own and have listened to.
Beats by Dre: Studio, Solo, Tour and iBeats. Skull Candy Ink'd. Panasonic RP-HT225. A variety of Sennheiser. And many more.
And the Redemption Song, currently on my ear playing Ed Sheeran :D, beats nearly all of the above.
I said "nearly" because I think the sound is more clear on one/two of the Sennheisers I have listened to, but those headphones are around £500, so if you have the money and have a different taste in aesthetics, then you should go for them. But House of Marley would definitely give Sennheiser a run for their money!
I wore these headphones, connected to my Iphone while playing a quite loud music with a lot of bass, and asked my brother to tell me when he could hear the song, even slightly. And he only said he could hear them when the volume was nearly at max.

Can only sing it's praises, I've never had better sounding headphones! SO sturdy and good looking and comfortable as well! only thing is the buttons do not work with my android but the sound experience more than makes up for that.Their even environmentally friendly; you can't go wrong (And for such a discounted price!). Even with the buttons not working, you can purchase and adapter for your phone. Great buy.

Unfortunately I returned this item as I found it uncomfortable, but the item is absolutely amazing. I am not used to on ear headphones so this was a major change for me. The sound quality blew me away as did the style, look and feel and packaging.

The detachable cable and remote control are excellent. The finish on the headphone with wood effect cups and subtle yet bold 'rasta' colours on the headband are nice. But the true marvel is the sound quality.

Did I expect anything less from an item related to Bob Marley? No. but then there are many celebrity/artist endorsed headphones out there that merely amplify bass and some of the top end sparkle. These on the other hand are truly musical! Rich but not overpowering bass, prominent mids and sparkle! All delivered with control. Shame they hurt my ears but then I am not conditioned to headphones of this type.

In the end I went for the AKG K451 which are also a marvel but smaller in size...

Must add that Amazon's service in handling the return was good as expected!

the quality of the sound is good, really good for the price, but the only thing that stopped me giving 5 star is that the volume controller is broken.. I do not need it and to avoid the fuss with the return and so on I'm gonna keep them. Once again the sound is great shifting from reggae to black metal ;)

These are my third pair of House of Marley headphone, and although i love the brand, the design and the comfort they provide, after just over a month (we are talking days here) one of the headphones stopped working for no apparent reason. I believe this was a problem with the jack as when i fiddle with i can occasionally find an angle that fixes it, however that will only last a second before it goes back to one. Due to this being just after a month, out of the limit for returns, the seller didn't give any indication of being interested in helping me or giving me any direction- merely reminding me that i bought this through amazon (who told me to get in touch with the seller in the first case). I therefore wouldn't encourage the purchase of this product, or at least if you do, be prepared to spring into action as soon as it breaks.

Brilliant headphones! I've been using the in-ear version for a couple of years now, but they get blocked up as I have quite waxy ears... So I thought I'd upgrade to the big brother and I'm glad I did. They're very comfortable and are extremely well made - a combination of leather and sustainable wood. They provide a great tonal range, from deep bass to crisp high frequencies.

At headphones at a great price. Sound quality is fantastic however they fit very tightly so can be uncomfortable at times.

Rating would have been 5 star if the volume/mic key worked on android phones although it does say product designed for Apple only.
