I have not managed to find time to open any books recently- never mind finish them - but I read this from start to finish without stopping for as much as a coffee - and the only disappointment was finishing it!! This was my first 'digital' book and I read it on my Ipad - it was my 'weekend' treat and it did NOT disappoint at any level.The book had me in helpless laughter to the extent that my partner had to come and see if I was alright, such was the coughing and spluttering and howling that was going on. Admittedly I have had first hand experience of French 'Immobiliers' as I work with them - so the author's cryptic commentary and witty observations rang loads of bells with me - but it was a most amusingly and wittily written book and I enjoyed every chapter to the hilt! Absolutely delightful and I wholeheartedly agree with the reviewer who is looking forward to reading more about the authors experiences in France. Magic!
