I never thought I'd see the light of day when a film such as House by the Cemetery would get such a great release, with so many great extras.
The transfer is about as good as your gonna get, very natural, no DNR, no messing, just a pure Hi-Def transfer. Blue Underground really know how to make the most of their blu ray releases. It's also great that every single one of their blu rays, is REGION FREE.
Whats most astonishing of all, is that ALL the special features are presented in Hi-Def.
And boy, do we get plenty.

I mean seriously, if your a fan of this film, what more do you want? This is pretty much definitive. It's extremely doubtful that a better version will come along, at least in terms of a physical format. It's one of those releases where, upon purchase, you can either sell your old dvd version or give it away to a friend.
I just hope that Blue Underground do a similar release with
The Beyond [Blu-ray] [1981] (after Arrow screwed it up, just read the reviews for yourself, a monochrome opening instead of sepia, sheesh) and as they are greatly improving with their blu rays, needless to say I'm pretty excited to see what's next in store in the future (it really is a shame that they don't own the rights to Suspiria, because the current version we have now is absolute rubbish).
Next up, Zombie Flesh Eaters, although it's more expensive (it's a double disc set!) so when I've managed to save up after paying the bills, I will definitely be buying that, as pretty much all previous releases haven't been so great, and it's never really had that much of a great transfer that it obviously deserves.
