Product Description

After an accident on an archeological site in Mexico leaves Ruth Matthews (Kathleen Turner) a widow, she has to face an additional problem: her 6-year-old daughter refuses to speak.

Psychiatrist Jake Beerlander (Tommy Lee Jones) believes that Sally is suffering from autism, but Ruth refuses to accept his diagnosis and instead risks her own sanity by attempting to enter her daughter's mind and make sense of the seemingly bizarre things that Sally does, including building a wondrous house of cards.

5.0 out of 5 stars 15!.......Rather a PG. 26 Sep 2010
I don't understand why this film has been certificated 15. It is more like a PG. Definitely overated.

This film is not your average kind of film. It's fascinating, but some may find it boring due to the fact that there isn't any action in it whatsoever.
Our main focus is on young Sally who is locked in her own World where her family are unable to communicate with her. Frequently she encounters dangerous situations and therefore the authorities are brought in to help when they send Tommy Lee Jones.

I really enjoyed watching it and still do love it.

I felt the film description misleading, felt it dragged in places and was slow in getting to the point, so much so i switched off and never got to see the end! Waste of time and money, disappointed.
