Enjoyed this latest book by Danielle Steel more so than some of her most recent ones. Hughes runs a luxury hotel in New York which he lives in with his wife Miriam and daughter Heloise. Everything changes the day Hughes's wife runs off with another man leaving him to bring up his daughter on his own. This is the story of a loving father and daughter, hotel life and the people they come across, as well as the joys and problems that they meet along the way. What stops me giving this novel five stars is that the author does tend to be repetitive in parts. However it is an easy light read and the characters are all very likeable.
