I read several reviews including the 2 poor ones on Amazon and still asked my daughter's great uncle to buy it for her 4th birthday. He ordered it from Amazon and it came very quickly in time for her birthday. The cars do need a good "rev up" and it only comes with one car - the first thing my daughter said was that you need 2 for a race - which is a fair comment. She loves it. She can get it to do complete revolutions, and as the track and cars are magnetic they don't fall off. She's learnt about how magnets work and quite enjoys the cars not completing a revolution as she wants them to be suspended upside down.
The track is a little flimsy and sometimes comes apart with exuberant play but is easy for her to put back together. I would also say it isn't a "fast" track and the cars do take time a little time to get around, having said that she got some money for her birthday and we plan to order the new extra track when it comes out.
Overall she's had some great fun with it - as have her friends and parents!

Basically this product didnt work! it was impossible to get the cars "revved up" enough to get them to loop the loop. Difficult for an adult or older child, impossible for a four year old. I returned the item.

I bought this product without reading any reviews for my 5 year old nephew last Christmas and it was a hit. He didn't have any problems getting it go round the full track and he wouldn't stop playing with it. His older sister really liked it too and wanted to play with it instead of with her own toys!
It is true that the car lacks some speed due to the magnets, but its gravity-defying track captured everyone's attention.
It's his birthday soon and on searching for another revups product I saw the reviews for this set and just wanted to share our experience with it- as my nephew really had a lot of fun with it.

My nephew loves it!
Bought it for my Nephews birthday and he loves it! Definatly a great toy and as he has all the other hot wheels stuff this was a great addition :)

complete rubbish
I bought this toy for my grandson's 5th birthday - it broke within a few hours - not very durable
