Salt n Pepa made a great breakthrough into the hip hop and rap world in 1987. This album contained the amazing showstopper in response to Doug E Fresh and the show. The track off this album that really seemed to launch there career was the massive hit push it. the single also had the great b side tramp. They made a few more albums then split then reformed and i'm not sure if there together or split again at the moment but let's keep looking at this album. On the start of the tape side one had the funky Beauty and the beat, followed up by tramp. The third track was I'll tale your man and finished off with it's all right. This was the slowest track on the album and made me wonder what the b side would hold. I shouldn't have worried as the up tempo track chick on the side kicked it off. The brilliant I desire which should have been a single in my opinion was followed with the show stoppers. My mic sounds nice comes near the end and the magnificent push it finished off a great album. if you are looking for really good early rap the this is the album for you.
